Any tips?
I'm finding the whole no exercise thing really hard. :( My weight at the moment is good, but I know that without exercise I am going to be putting on some lbs, which just makes me miserable and then I start eating! Trying to keep to my healthy eating guidelines, but its so tough, especially being at home so much, I just keep reaching for the snacks!
Is there anything I can do at all about exercise, even some muscle tightening ones or something? Or failing that, any tips to stop me eating over the next month until I can start working out again?
Before this whole process I lost almost fifty pounds. I would be so sad if I ruined that just by slobbing about for six weeks.

I would say try to keep healthy food around and drink plenty of water also if your really craving something brush your teeth, usually gets rid of my cravings!
well done on your weight loss that is amazing!

Re: Any tips?
I didn't ask, I just have done it. I am
Not lifting etc , I wouldn't think holding my tummy in
Or clenching my buttocks will affect my BA. Haven't done loads, just as I have laid down. I always do pelvic floors too ( but had kids) , I do loads of them too, always have. The brushing teeth is good, and imagine your favourite snack tastes like pure lard, or something that repulses you. My belly and bloated feeling has just gone after nearly 3 weeks , try not to worry Hun x

Re: Any tips?
Hunny not eating is not going to help your recovery. Eating right however, will. Eating healthy nutrious food not only will help you recover quicker but also keep your weight in check.
I'm a gym addict hunny and I havnt been able to train propley for months now because of my 2nd ba complication then re op.
See the time taken off the gym as letting your body recover and recuperate . 6 weeks off the gym is hardly no time at all when you think of the outcome of your lovely New boobs that will last years.
When your ready to go back you will have that drive and motivation and muscle memory, meaning you will regain your shape very quickly. Trust me!
Please don't feel the need not to eat hunny you won't be helping yourself or your recovery xx xx

Re: Any tips?
Walking is a great thing to do as keeping mobile after your op is a great aid to healing. As for reaching for snacks, if they aren't there you can't have them. Get rid of all bad snacks and fill your fridge with lovely easy snacks like carrots and dips. Lots of fruit. Nuts and yoghurts.
Re: Any tips?
As the others have already pointed out walking is a great way to keep active without risking hurting your body while it heals! Getting the fresh air will help you feel a little better too but should you feel a little worn out (I definitely did) then don't push too much too soon and build up your distances. Going with a friend can stop it getting boring because you can have a natter on the way!
As for snacking, I'm a nightmare for this! I can nibble all day if the food is there! Try stocking up on plenty of fruit e.g grapes, apples etc. It will keep your mind and hands busy and I'm sure your body will appreciate the extra vitamins! x

Re: Any tips?
I love the gym and lost 5 stone last year so I am pretty obsessive about keeping my weight in check. I'm 6 weeks post op on Wednesday so I can start going back to the gym this week. The 6 weeks has flown by and although I really missed it I must admit it went faster that I thought it would. I gained about 2lb in the first few weeks but this week that has gone and I'm back to my pre-op weight so I've done well not to gain any weight but I do feel out of shape and I think I look and feel a bit softer around the edges. Cant wait to get back to it but it will be a long while yet before I'm back to my pre BA routine.
