McGhan implant range Empty McGhan implant range

Post by kelly1990 16th July 2010, 7:25 pm

Hello,
I had my first consultation today at 'the hospital group' in liverpool...
After a discussion with the surgeon about what he'd recommend I asked him which brand of implants he uses...
He said they use McGhan and that he recommends the 'natrelle' type (a cohesive gel)
I've not heard of this particular brand before, however, I hav e heard of the allergan natrelle range, which is supposed to be top quality.
If I go ahead with this surgeon there's an extra charge to upgrade to the mcghan ones so I'm thinking they must be of good quality but I'd like some advise please!
Thanks, kelly.x

The name McGhan is mostly used in the USA hun.

The 'Naturelle' you discussed with your surgeon is infact the Allergan Naturelle and is an FDA approved implant, you will pay a little more for these implants, they also come with a lifetime guarantee. xx

I've McGhan 410 style high profile anatomical implants. They're also known as Inamed. Mine are 295cc. They're a really good quality implant, slightly more expensive.

Post by dimpledee 27th October 2010, 10:50 am

Hi all I am totally confused. Going to see my surgeon at Nuffield next week who use nagor impleos. However told the surgeon Ive chosen has a xpreferred implant called Mcghan and Although more expensive she might
offer me them as an option and it will be up to me. I have researched high and low and nagor impleos do seem to have a good name. Mcghans however are hard to find and I am confused. Someone said its actually cui's but info ive found said that the cui are the basic allergan one and the mcghans are the next one up if you like. Problem is I checked t he allergan website and all it talks about are natrelle not cui or mcghan.Ive emailed to ask but if anyone has any ideas I'd love to know . Just trying to do my research before she gives me her opinion on the two.
