Panic about size...
I popped in yesterday to pay for my BA (3 weeks on Saturday!) I wanted to double check which implants I would be having... I was under the impression it would be 460cc anatomicals, but on my notes my surgeon has written 460cc round, moderate profile! I'm really not sure this is what I want and I left a little worried! I prefer the idea of high-profile... Maybe it's a stupid question to ask, but how late is too late to change my mind on size/shape? I'm assuming they'll have a stock of implants at the hospital, and not just the ones on my notes?? Help? Having a mini panic! Co-ordinator yesterday said not to worry about it and I would discuss again with Dr Lahoud on the day... but aaaargh!!!

Hi there, try not to panic - I went with Transform as well, and I changed my mind about size on the day, when I spoke to my surgeon, so I'm sure you'll be fine. Which hospital are you going to? xxx

Hi Minxie,
If youve told your surgeon the look you want to acheive then maybe he has chosen the implants that he feels will best achieve that look for you, thats what transform did for me :) they are dead relaxed arent they said 2 me about something, you can discuss with him on the day ha ha ha

Thanks girls, that's put my mind at ease. Dr Lahoud seemed to know exactly what he was talking about and I did leave feeling very confident. I suppose you just worry about things in the weeks leading up to the op. I'll be having them done at Abbey Kings Park in stirling.

Re: Panic about size...
anatomicals are normally a bit more expensive than rounds. Just a heads up if you still wanted to choose between the two types nearer the date :)

Re: Panic about size...
Like kazza says anatomicals are normally more ££. Also I think they would have the standard/ more common cc's in stock like 460 mods but maybe not the rarer high profiles and/or anatomicals.
I would say to try and book to see heim again asap to rediscuss profile / shape etc. At least you'll be satisfied then or maybe he will alter what you are having. Either way better to get it all sorted well in adv of the day so you only have the op itself to worry about.

Re: Panic about size...
Book another consultation with your surgeon hun, don't take advice from a co-ordinator, they are sales persons and have no medical training.
There is a big difference between anatomicals and rounds so if it's rounds you're now getting you need to further discuss the overall appearance and the size and be sure they're the right choice for you hun. xx

Thanks Cookie, yes - will tell her I want to see my surgeon again.
Who'd have known there was so much choice!
