The size debate.

i guess we all see things diff cause i never think mine look size i measure most my friends say i look a e not a ff my mum just says their big enough when i ask her and shes a busty lady so who knows xxx

That's due to their perception of an E cup hun, that's not to say you look an E when you're actually wearing a FF. As you can see from this thread, in general, peoples perception of boob sizes whether they be real or fake are generally smaller than the cup size.

BTW - I've always said it hunni, I think you definately look the size you wear babe. xx

I have always thought that if you message a cetain size how can you not look it. After all boobs come in all shapes dont they. I think like you have already said its a misconception of what people think is an F cup and what really is an F cup. xx

Cookie, in my opinion yours do look big, but they dont scream fake at all, they do look real, just very pert for that size! (unlike pic 1 where they are hanging low)
id be proud of what youve got!

well after seeing a natural pair of 32dd,s today in my magazine i have to agree now with cookie mine look way bigger than that and i always thought i only looked like a dd but mine look much bigger than the natural dd,s i see in the magazine xxxxxxx

Im with them , yours didnt scream 'fake ' its just they look huge & boobs that huge are not normally as pert as your cookie that why they stood out as maybe being aug! (im my word im so digging a hole! lol)

Have to say thou cook yours really do to me look alot bigger then the real ones.....it so strange as i alway though 'fake' boobs looked smaller then there real size! Thats proved me wrong

Take your own size babe, I just googled 30G and up comes a natural girl that doesn't come anywhere near I'd imagine! I'll pm the page though as I don't think it appropriate for here xx

Yes!!

I was so flat chested pre-op that I never went in a bra shop and I realise now that I didn't have a clue about boob sizes.

I was looking at some pics of myself pre-op in a dress wearing a 34c bra filled with rice and god knows what - and then I compared it with a picture of myself now wearing the same dress as a 34d - and I definitely *do* look a bit bigger.

Boobie greed is, I think, all about perception and about 'adapting' to what you've got post-op. I think part of that is also about the relationship between band width and cup size. In my pre-op mind a 'd' cup was enormous (partly because my gran was a 40 d and her bras *did* have head-sized cups ) . Now I wear a 34d myself I realise, yes, it is huge compared to being flat-chested, but it's pretty average on the boobie size spectrum

I also think another aspect of this is the tendency for bra manufacturers to use flattery sizing (La Senza, I think, is a classic example of a clothing company that exaggerates size to make you feel good about yourself).

No wonder surgeons don't like talking about cup size ....

I think we all exaggerated the cup size of the boobs we though were augmented because we have a perception that they measure bigger. But yes thats not necessarily true.

I still think it holds some truth though because I work with someone who is a 32DD and I'm a 32DD and definitely don't look as big as her, aand before I told her what size I was I asked her to guess and she said C!

I think natural boobs fill bra's in a different way to augmented ones, so if you're a DD in a bra with natural boobs without a bra you look like an E/F. Does this make sense?

I think part of this is that all us augmented ladies have been measured and know our true sizes whereas i think sooo many natural ladies are walking around with the wrong size bra on.

So a natural lady who says she is a D cup, if she went to get measured would probably find she is an E or F, whereas us augmented girls think they look a D (like said natural lady above) but know they are an E or F because it the first thing us augmenteds do get fitted! So yes, I agree with Cookie on this I think the bigger vs smaller debate is all about perception.

You're still very early in your recovery Boobieprize, over time your boobs will soften up lots and look so much dofferent to how they do now hun. xx

This is true, I hope they do end up looking a DD, I'm still getting used to them and just love the fact I have boobs. Its amazing lol
