Start of the Journey
Hi Everyone,
Just a quick question if anybody can help,
I am sure of location, company etc and this is My Breast. I have started to book a consultation.... does anybody know whether they allocate you a surgeon that is available as there does not seem to be anywhere where you can request a surgeon I have heard good things about ?!
Just a small one but if anybody can help it would be much appreciated
Thanks
Kerry xx

Hi Kerry
MB usually send you some C Vs of surgeons in your area or you can ask for a specfic surgeons details. Then when you decide who you want to see they give you a date for the consult.

I was told which surgeons were available and when and went from there.

Re: Start of the Journey
I did my research (which included weeks on BJSF!) and knew what surgeons I wanted to see. I then rang up and asked for their CV's to be sent and I took it from there.
Good luck, it's so exciting at the beggining! x x

Hi Kerry, I'd call My Breast and request they send you a list of their surgeons, then the research starts! I think all My Breast surgeons are all BAAPs registered, but you can also look for recommendations online from ladies who have also used the surgeon and look for both good and bad comments about their work, be as informed about your choice of surgeon as you possibly can, then when you're happy with your choice, call My Breast and request your chosen surgeon and take it from there. xx
