Not a good day :(
Hi everyone.
Had another 2 consultations today and they have left me feeling more deflated (excuse the pun) than what I was already.
Firstly, a surgeon recommends I need the full tummy tuck and not the modified :( and secondly he will not peform both the tummy tuck op at the same time as the uplift with implants . He did explain that both ops would take around 5 hours and in his opinion this is too long under GA and the risks are too high!?!
So its seems I may have to have two separate ops...With this will come two lots of recovery, 2 lots of time off work, 2 separate occassions I'll need help with the 3 kids and also 2 lots of far toooo long away from the gym, I really dont think I can cope with two operations :(
Ok, now just had a call back from 2 consult and they too will not do both ops together, is this an omen???

Re: Not a good day :(
Hi hun,
I would say keep looking about although i didn't have a uplift i did have a full TT, muscle repair, lipo and ba all done at the same time.
Really hope you get what you want, all surgeons are different and have different rules. xx

Re: Not a good day :(
Aw hun, I can understand you would rather get it all over with and out of the way and coping with the recovery, time off work etc. They are 2 very major operations and although it is annoying it may be safer to your health, 5 hours or more is a long time to be sedated and maybe worse to recover from, plus most surgeons will wait 6 months between GA's as it is safer to your health. It's very good they are considering the health implications rather than just taking your money.
Re: Not a good day :(
I would have to agree with misf1, it's great to hear that your surgeons are worried about possiblt complications rather than just take the £7k and do it anyway!
It can't hurt to have as many consults as you can though lovely. If most of them come back saying the same thing then I would def go with their reccommendation of waiting between surgeries.
