Day one post op !!!! Yay
So I had my op yesterday yay!!! Thanks for the well wishes
Got to Dolan park at 10 and was taken down at 11.30 so i was very happy .
Woke up with such a tight feeling , best i can explain is like a sumo wrestler leaning on my ribs . Thanfully after a couple of hours the morphine had kicked in and happy days.
Managed some food and visitors .
Woke up pretty earlier today as i have a bit of pain again ,
Just had the nurse talk through my discharge stuff and give me the anti biotics and painkillers .
I resemble a sweat hair and faced tramp at the moment but with lovely boobs. I have got a binder on , does everyone where these or ?
Thanks again ladies xxxx

Hi Saranne,
Glad to hear you finally have your new boobs!
Not everyone wears binders, I think it depends on where you go and your surgeon!?
There's no picture there (prob best to set up a picture trail account when your feeling better)
Happy recovery. X

That's so lovely to hear as that's the thing I have been most nervous about, what he would be like! Puts my mind at ease :smiler: xx

Re: Day one post op !!!! Yay
Congratulations saranne,
I had my ba at Dolan park with hospital group too, I was really pleased with them. I am wearing a compression band, I think the surgeons there like them. They are hard to get used to and a bit annoying but after a while you get used to the pressure and feel a bit strange without it on!!
Back up to Dolan park on Saturday for my two week post op check up, wishing you a speedy and safe recovery , remember to take it easy.
Good luck em xxx

Re: Day one post op !!!! Yay
1st one was fine, they just want to make sure it doesn't look like there are any complications, my nurse took off my plasters / bandages over drain and incision and gave me a clean up then gave me pads for them rather than re dressing., which was lucky as I understand sometimes they do redress depending on healing. And was perfect as meant I could have a long awaited shower !!
Think they like to see you after 1 2 and then 6 weeks, and at 6 I think you see surgeon again.
Fingers crossed it goes as well tomorrow xx
