before/after back size.

Hey!
I hope I'm not being stupid, but.............
looking at different girl's stories here I noticed that just as their cup size changes so do some of their back measurments eg going from a 32a to a 30c. Why is this? Is it because the mearurement is taken from a different place due to the breasts changing size/position?

I cant speak for other girls but in my case I think it was simply down to the fact I was wearing the wrong backsize. I have lose some weight since having my ba so this could have something to do with it too. x

I think it's just because most girls don't get properly measured untill they're post op because it doesn't really seem worth it when you're buying little bras, but after they've got some boobies they want to look after them properly!

Cos there's no other reason back size would change unless you lose weight or something, it's always measured in the same place.

From experience I was wearing the wrong bra size. I didn't need the support from the band so it didn't really matter what size I wore. When I got measured properly after my op I found i'd been wearing the wrong band size, I thought I was a 34 but turns out I was a 32. I didn't pay much attention to bras before my op, as long as they made my boobs look bigger I bought them. I didn't know how cup sizes worked or that the most support you get for boobs is from the band, if the straps are giving you the most support it can give you a bad back.

i agree with the other girls it's mainly down to the fact that alot of us were wearing the wrong size pre b/a.
i used to wear a 36 but i'm actually only a 32.
