UPLIFT SURGERY AND IMPLANTS ADVICE NEEDED Empty UPLIFT SURGERY AND IMPLANTS ADVICE NEEDED

Post by misha 13th October 2009, 9:53 am

I am 47, have breast fed 2 children, have recently lost about 1 1/2 stones in weight ahave just been told at my first consult that my boobs are too saggy to have implants alone and require anchor uplift surgery too. the surgeon is recomending overs.

i know verylittle aout this procedure and would like to be well researched prior to next consultation.

could anyone give me info / advice about recovery experience, they type of implants , whether the implants were over/under, how the scars are healed; and anything else which i should know before i go back to second consult.

Hiya, I've booked my uplift with implants for December, I only really know what I've learned by looking at the forum. It would be good to get some advice from someone who has actually been through the procedure. Like Mischa I'm concerned about the scars and the recovery.

Back on topic...

Misha, i had an uplift after suffering tissue loss through breastfeeding/pregnancy and even though it went wrong for me due to several complications the end result is worth it, the scars also heal to almost nothing but this can vary from person to person because of skin tone etc, the great thing you are doing is researching, you can never do enough research for this type of surgery so you keep at it hunni and good luck with your next consultation UPLIFT SURGERY AND IMPLANTS ADVICE NEEDED 184153 x x
