im back!! :(

im back girls and in alot of pain, more discomfort than anything. iv had both my implants removed due to an infection inside in both rather than just the left. im all banadged up with a massive binder on. he came to see me this morning and said he had taking swabs to see what bacteria it was. will i get a cause of why this happened, is it down to me or them why i caught an infection???
go back wednesay to my nurse, following after having my stiches removed as not dissolvable this time. then my surgeon wants to see me in a month.

oh no, so sorry to hear that both were infected, this has nothing to do with anything you did or didn't do so don't go blaming yourself, we carry bacteria on our skin and it was this along with another type of bacteria that came from the internal bleed that caused mine to become infected, i had to have 2 lots of antibiotics at a time and spend months on them to try and get rid of the infections.

Sorry to hear that the infection was in both, hope you feel less discomfort soon once the antibiotics kick in. Hope you feel better soon now that it is sorted out.

i feel like crap today, very sicky and upset with the way mt body lokks. give it a few days and hopefully i will feel loads better. xxx

thanks ss, you are a true inspiration!!
keep thinking to my self do i leave my son off tomorrow or have i got the guts to walk around like this. suppose it depends what i feel like in morning. maybe when i get this strap thing off that goes right down to my waist i might be ok cuz its just so uncomforatable. especially when i want to eat something, its just so tight.
cant wait just to feel normal again.
just keeping thinking to my self do i want to put myself through it again then this happen again to me. i think my emiotions are all over the place at the min xx

sounds like you're strapped up right, you'll see what a pathetic job my surgeon done after my single explant when you see the pics hun, have you got any zip up tops you could sling on to do the school run? Like a hoody type top? just until you feel a bit less concious about them.
I doubt this would happen to you again hunni, you really have been unlucky.
It's natural you'll have those feelings and emotions will be running wild but you will get stronger with each day and as you rid the infection too you'll feel better, hold in there lovely you're doing great!! x x

Hey lovely,

I'm glad the explant went ok, but sorry to hear you're feeling not great. If I'm being honest lovely you're bound to not feel great for a few weeks, so try not to worry about getting back to normal, t will come in time.

Do you know when they can put your implants back in?

got to go see my surgeon in a month, he said to me 3months at earliest and 5 months latest but i suppose its do with how long body heals. hopefully it will heal ok and can get them back after xmas. cant really seeing it bein before then and dont really wanna be ill over xmas with it as wanna enjoy it with kids.
so hopefully a new year a new me!! lol xx
