:) It was fine. Just did 25 mins powerwalking on a 9% incline which knackered me out and 5 minutes on the cross trainer. Couldnt do any more. Could tell I hadnt been for a few weeks!!
then did some resistance on the leg adductors and abductors.

Felt good afterwards

sounds like you enjoyed it abbie, ive been doing alot of walking, as i have felt a bit flabby too, lost all the bloatedness ages ago though, i just know that my arms are going to be the hardest to get back to normal,

anyone got any ideas on building up top body strength? i dont go to a gym so its got to be something i can do at home daily to build up slowly?

xx

I'm keen to get back to the gym too, although I've been walking a fair bit.
Does anyone know how long until I can swim again?

i would think you need to at least wait until the incision has closed up because of risk of infection. dont swim much myself but would think if you take it easy you could swim as soon as your incision closes.

Hey Minxie,

I had to wait 6 weeks to get back in the pool. I am a swimming teacher and my PS said the risk of infection in the pool with all the kids was a little high, I been back in a week now and all is good but I am wearing a sports bra under my swimsuit for added support. I am really dreading a kick from one of the little ones, hasn't happened so far fingers crossed !
