Heavy/achey feeling at night Empty Heavy/achey feeling at night

Post by blush89 28th August 2015, 9:38 am

Hey ladies,

For the last couple of weeks I've had quite a heavy/achey feeling in my boobs in the evening and particulary as I'm going to sleep. I don't know if it's to do with the BA, or hormones (I've been taking the pill without a break because of going on holiday).

I'm nearly 5 months PO, so is it usual to feel like this at night. I keep trying to sleep bra-less, but nearly always end up getting out of bed and putting on a soft sports bra which seems to make me feel a lot better. But I don't really want to have to wear a sports bra to bed every night for the rest of my life...!

They aren't big implants at all, so I don't think it's anything to do with the weight or size of the implants. I'm just finding they are very achey just lately, and my nipples quite sensitive. Do you think this is anything to be worried about?

Not big implants, what are you girls like! You've got 600 grams of silicone on your chest! I would say hormones are playing a part if you don't normally link packs, but for the most part, its the weight of the breast. Your body is still adjusting to the weight, especially at night when your freeboobing, and theyre hanging to one side. Mine still ache if I go braless at night, but mine are a pain in the A at the moment. You should get used to it eventually, but if its sore, stick with light support bras for now. It might just be they need another couple of months.

Oh I do love you [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]! You are so funny and always make me laugh!! I'm sat at my desk *working* chuckling my head off!

Yeah I guess I didnt think of it that way, I guess when you add up 315 & 315 you've got 630cc having a chill on your chest! You're right, no wonder they can feel a bit achey and heavy. Makes me wonder about how people like Katie Price would have felt given the size of hers!!

Yeah, I reckon the hormone thing isnt helping either. I LOVE your phrase 'freeboobing' hilarious! It is deffinitly when I'm lying on my side and they are just hanging there you think 'owww!?'

Yeah I will stick to these yoga crop top things for the evenings for a few more months I reckon. My boyfriend actually said to me last night 'do you HAVE to put that on!?' and I snapped 'YES THEY ARE BLOODY ACHING!'. I would love to be able to flounce around in some sexy nightie but they are just so damn achey at night!!

I feel it if I sleep braless at night. Always best in my mind to sleep with some support. Also hormones as well just to add to it xxx

I know what you mean. I'm still in support every night, just switched from macom to a med support Nike. But I've been with D almost 10yrs, so its not so much of a bother! As always, just give it more time, especially if you've got the furries. Also, if he gives you hassle about it, just casually throw in a 'well we wouldnt want them sagging would we?!'. Bra at night is just good boob care!

I get this blush, feel really achey if I don't wear y belvia, and always end up getting up and putting it on, cos just aches otherwise.
The mornings were getting hard to get out of bed, I found once mine softened a bit more they felt a chief as they was more movement?

So maybe it's kind of a good thing...?

Hahaha,  Freeboobing Hysterical that perfectly sums it up :ok: I'm just over a year post-op and alternate between my belvia and trusty macom at night, on the odd occasion I "freeboob" I always wake up during the night with achey boobs, my other half would rather I went au natural but I'd rather maintain the investment I've made, not to mention be comfortable yes x

I have a friend in her mid 50ies and she has naturally large breasts, when I told her of my BA the first thing she said was to always wear a bra to sleep in. She has all her adult life and her boobs even after children and at her age look truly fantastic. Charlii is spot on, good boob care is key.
Do hope the achiness goes soon [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] xx

Oh yeah, wires ouch, she didn't say if they were soft cup or not, I'll have to ask. I don't sleep naked anyway so a Cami for me would be perfect, just to keep em in place xx
