Heavy feeling still at 2 weeks? Empty Heavy feeling still at 2 weeks?

Post by Mssaprl9 5th August 2012, 9:18 pm

Hi! I'm just about 2 weeks post op and feel like im taking longer than normal to recover. Still have heavy feeling through chest, especially when I take off my sports bra to shower! I still feel pulling and it's hard to raise my arms to put my hair up. Still doing things a lot slower. If I'm up for a long time, I start to feel like I need to sit down. Normal? Anyone else still feel lots of heaviness in the chest at 2 weeks?

It's normal sweetness Heavy feeling still at 2 weeks? 1978086825 Most get over the worst from their surgery at a week/2 weeks post-op, but the heaviness can continue for weeks after that, I can't remember when exactly that feeling left me, but I know it stayed with me for a long time before my waking up and not having a day when I didn't feel them there. xx

Oh really? Wow...I had no idea it could last that long! I definitely feel good, but when I take my sports bra off it feels as if my boobs are going to fall off my chest! Haha

Sorry pp can't be of any help mssaprl9 as I'm only on day 4 post op. but as cookie's mentioned before, everyone's recovery time is a bit different. I lost the heaviness feeling towards the end of day 2 post-op, but the soreness stayed a bit longer. I also couldn't stand up for a long time w/o feeling a little light headed. But that's gotten better over the past couple of days as well.

You'll get there hun! You're doing great so far! vino here'se to beautiful boobage! Xx
