Hi I can't stand the feel of constipation, so there for I have booked myself in for a colonic irrigation before my BA . I have had 2 in the past and you come out feeling wonderful. That way I know that if I stop for a few days after I gave had a good clear out. Not a subject that a lot of people like to talk about but constipation is quiet common after apparently. Due to pain meds. A good idea I think. They are amazing . You wouldn't believe what has been stuck in your colon for a long long time.  dance Xxxx

I personally found the constipation one of the worst parts of m BA , I switched from the co codemol to just plain paracetamol and had no problems after that. Didn't think about a colonic ...good plan

The constipation was horrible! Nothing a bit of senokot didnts sort though x

Is that because of the co-codamol then? Another little tip thank you. I will stock up on the sennakot too!!

My hospital gave me lactulose when they gave me the pain killers! Keep fluids high too!

I agree I wish I was as brave as you! I'm such a woss but would probably really benefit from one as I'm probably still digesting a kebab from 1999!!!

Haha!! You would be surprised what comes out of your colon. You don't need to be brave as it does not hurt at all . Once you have it done you will be a fan xx

Its the codeine, antibiotics and GA that stuff you up. Lactulose is WAY cheaper than sennakot. One table spoon and 30mins later and you're away! Bear in mind though that this wont get rid of the Buddha belly, only the constipation.
