Hi!

I am nearly 2 weeks post op and moving nicely. Can I take them off? I wonder how long other ladies kept the compression socks after surgery.

Thanks

How long were you told? I was told a week, but then had a temper tantrum and took them off! As long as you're up moving and active, you should be ok at 2wks.

It's just to prevent clots with your inactivity, but I think if you're moving around plenty, 4wks is excessive. If your worried, keep then on at night, but personally I think you're fine (tho it not a trained dr!)
