Raised vein Empty Raised vein

Post by rachelw287 12th May 2014, 7:31 pm

I have a very small raised vein on my breast. I can the vein under the skin but a small part has raised and is sticking out I can push it. I'm not freaking out that I have a blood clot or something terrible. I got quite drunk on Saturday and had a few cigarettes now I'm feeling super guilty. Can't get through to nurse. Not sure if side sleeping has contributed either. I'm really panicking. X

Where abouts on the breast? Is it tender? It could just be a Mondors cord. Give it a quick Google. Perfectly normal and will go away on its own in another month.

Thanks charlii, it's a lot thinner like a blood vessel and purple, it's not tender. Maybe I'm being dramatic but I was concerned as I never saw it Friday at my 5 weeks check. I'll call the nurse if it changes x
