Journey back from hospital
Hi ladies
I've got a 2 hour journey back from the hospital after my ba...I'm staying overnight because of his but wondered if anyone had any tips for the journey back.
I was thinking of taking something to cushion my boobies from the seatbelt???..or if you found it ok??..I've not travelled this far after an op and it's my first ba
Thanks ladies xx

Re: Journey back from hospital
Hi I had a 2.5 hr journey home. Didn't take a pillow just didn't put the seat belt across my chest. I was sick 5 times! But I do suffer from travel sickness so this mixed with the Ga wasn't a good combo for me. X

I put the v pillow round my knock and over my boobs and a normal pillow over my lap, to make me feel more supported. I had a 2 hour journey to my mums straight from hospital. I was so sleepy I just dozed for the whole journey and only woke to sip water. X

I took a pillow with me and put this between my boobs and the seat belt and it made it quite comfy. I did feel sick on the journey home, but wasn't thank god. Xx

Re: Journey back from hospital
The journey home is like the one after having a cesarean ! (I've had 3 lol) I took my v pillow and had that round my back and kind of under my arms which made it like an arm chair it was comfy but I still felt every bump and with every bump I hugged my boobs ha. Not the nicest journey but I didn't feel sick luckily x

Re: Journey back from hospital
I was silly and took nothing!!
It was the longest 45 min ride of my life. Every bump in the road or movement the car made was painful :'(
I should have taken pain meds before and pillow to keep the boobs still.
Good luck x

Mine was about a 15 minute journey so I just used a pillow but you shouldn't feel too sick if your staying over night xx

Re: Journey back from hospital
I have to say that I'm feeling apprehensive about the journey home. I've got an hour long journey and am not staying over night. I' don't usually get travel sick and haven't been sick after a GA before but being sick really scares me, as daft as it sounds. I usually suffer from very low blood pressure after GA, hope I'm one of the first to go down so I have plenty of time to recovery
