What does this mean when ladies refer to 'upper pole' with their new breasts?

Simply the upper half of your breast. Immediately post op, if you've had rounds, you get a big D shape with even upper and lower pole (think of your nip as the equator line!). Then, when you fluff, the volume goes into the lower pole, so you have a fuller lower breast, and more of a sloping upper breast. This is what the girls mean when they miss the upper pole fullness. But its easily achieved again with the right bra.

Oh I understand, so once you've had breasts done and they settle and the 'upper pole' goes is there no way of making that stay???? Or is there an implant that will give it you even after they've settled? thank you xxx

I'm not sure, I guess it depends on the look you've asked for. For example (and Im sure she wont mind me using her as one), both myself and Mrs Ball have round implants. But I asked for a natural look so have the gentle slope and the fuller lower pole, where as she wanted a bigger rounder faker look, and so still has that. I guess its just the look you're trying to achieve. Someone might be along soon to better explain.

Definately take those pics along with you next time you see your surgeon, that way he has the pics there in front of him and can see exactly the look you want, often when we describe something to someone what the other person visualises isn't necessarily what we are thinking. Pics are the only way you can be sure they know what you want. XXX

It's said that motivas retain more of their upper pole fullness due to the type of gel they're made from. Ask your surgeon x

yeah even if its not to change the implants it will need to prob change the placement as it looking like my muscles are just to strong and this is something that you cant really tell til your in there and i think that if i change the placement then i might go for tear drops xx
