Hi girls, I've not been on for ages as all has been great, I'm happy with my boobs and my healing was uneventful. However, I've been having a sort of sharp intermittent pain in my leftie for the last day or so. It looks as it always does, nothing untoward apart from this niggley pain.
The only thing I can put it down to is I was at the gym with my PT and doing some chest presses. Not heavy as I'm a weakling but maybe enough to strain the boob?
Any ideas ladies?

Hey honey. Didn't want to read and run. Not sure to be honest. Maybe a bit of strain. Prob leave off the bench press a bit.

Might be worth calling your ps or nurse if it continues.

Fx it's nothing xx

Hiya,
Sorry, I can't necessarily help as I am only 5 months post BA but I dud t want to read and run.
That sounds a very plausible reason, especially if you haven't worked your chest muscles very much since your op.

I have started a more rigorous workout regime now and certainly felt a few twinges on my boobs after, and that was just after burpees, planks and squats,so not really even working my chest.

I hope somebody more experienced comes along yo help you soon

Xx

Twinges a year on are normal Hun, I still get some on my lefty. Especially more so when I've done quite hard at the gym or done something I don't usually do like pull ups  and chest press. And I'm the same not heavy at all.

As you've had unders also could be a muscle strain that pulls on your boob.

Stay as much as you can in a sports bra to give it some support.
But just be aware with unders that any chest excerise will be using your chest muscle which covers the top part of your implant therefor can twinge when you've worked it more than you're used to or hard. X
