Daft question but I'm a bit worried 4 days Post Op Empty Daft question but I'm a bit worried 4 days Post Op

Post by CharlieGirlEvan 1st August 2013, 5:59 pm

Just taken my bra off for the first time to change it. So the first time I have seen my new boobies. I am happy with the left one as it looks nicely shaped and they are both a good size... Hubby says they look massive, he certainly had a grin!! The right one however looks a bit squashed and not as round. I know there's lots of changes to come but will the squashedness go away?

 Just after other experiences really.

Thanks in advance. Xx

Yey on seeing ur boobies for the first time!!!!!

I am no expert but have read time and time on here that how we look at the moment is by no means the end result. Our boobies have so much change to happen and u treat them as 2 operations so the left and right can heal at different rates.  My right is def more swollen and I have no sensation but my left is much better.

We need to be really patient but we should see nice changes over the next few weeks but ultimately they need time to drop and fluff. Once they fluff u get more umff behind ur nipple.  Put fluffing in the search bar for pic examples.  In some cases it can take up to 6 months to fluff, others it happens much sooner!

This early, everyone has a bit of frankenboob. There will always be one that suffered more trauma, and one will always be a little bit behind healing wise. But it's all normal, especially this early. My lefty is still playing catch up 8wks on. They will even out eventually, but you have to be patient, as everyone will tell you.

Bombs can look all kinds of shapes early post-op - torpedo, global, squashed, snoopy look.

But they all come good as they continue to go through their recovery.

This could take months though babe, so be patient and enjoy the grins you're getting off hubby lol. Xx

My boobs were shiny, veins were awful, hard and had the torpedo look. One was much bigger then the other too - and different shapes nipples were all over the shop and changed from week to week. It was only about the 4 month mark that they started to look like boobs to me, shine went and veins not so prominent. And at 9 months I havefinally got there. We all heal at different rates. So don't threat xxx
