4 weeks post op - updated pic trail - unhappy :-(

Hi girls, 

OH treated me to a holiday so not been on here for a couple of weeks! Anyway, been feeling so down about my boobs the past couple of weeks.....I just feel like they are too small! I really wish I had pushed for the 420cc implant now. All my friends seem a bit shocked that they aren't bigger and comments like "you definitely could have pulled off bigger, but they look nice" really doesn't help!

I know most people have the dreaded boob greed at some point but this really is making me feel awful! I look at them and feel ok about them some days, then other times I feel a bit sick about the fact that I wish I had gone bigger......I just feel really down at the moment!

By boobs are still very firm, which I know (and hope will change) and the left is definitely different size/shape wise.

May be I'll feel different in a few weeks but at the moment I'm not feeling good about it at all.......they just aren't what I 'dreamed' of having!

Ignore your friends, it's not as simple as "you could have pulled off bigger", the bigger you go (especially "pushing" for bigger), the more risk you take on of complications, bottoming out etc. You've so early post-op and have got a  LOT of changes to go through. When do you get the all clear for bra's? A proper fitting and some pretty bra's will be sure to make you feel better about them x

I go back to see my surgeon in 2 and a half weeks so hopefully I'll know then if I can get some 'real' bras....by that point they will probably have changed quite a bit as well. I know there would have been more risks going bigger and I totally trusted Mr Richards, I think he did a fab job.....its just how I'm feeling unfortunately....I just hope this phase passes! xxx

Sorry your having boob greed, again don't worry about your friends too much, when your able to get 'real' bras I'm sure your be happy! Also I've seen your pictures, I think you look great and I think they look perfect :) hope you feel better because I know what a sizing wobble you had xxx

oh selena i completely sympathise, i'm having really bad boob greed at the moment too!!

like you i am very much over the moon that i did it, and the shape and everything is very much perfect, my surgeon did a great job, but i was too scared pre op to think about bigger implants. but i can see now that sizers make them look so much bigger than they are.

i did end up with exactly what i was aiming for, its just now that i'm used to this size, that i can say i could have definitely pulled off bigger and would have been happier with them. 

all i can say is lets wait till they have fully dropped and fluffed, and hopefully when we wear proper bras we will feel different about them!

I agree Princess babe about ignoring comments like that from so called friends.

You've had the op now so what are they hoping to achieve in saying something like that... Other than to upset you! And I suspect the green eyed monster may have been involved there hun, so take no need.

You already look a decent size when looking at your avatar but its clear they're still high in the pic... As you drop, settle and fill out that lower pole and then get fitted into some lovely lingerie, I know in time you're going to feel so different hun.

Give your boobs time to heal, you kind time to adjust and your friends a wide berth!

Selena ur pic looks amazing, pls try not to get down about ur friends comments, listen to the girls on here, I think it's a common feeling on here early on but once they drop and u in underwired bras things will be so different.  At the end of the day ur health comesfirst and u wouldn't want a bigger implant if it wasn't safe, I really hope u feeling better now. Xxxxx

:( I share your pain. I went bk to work yesterday and someone said mine are bigger than yours. You don't look any different. It's poo. I know they are diff cos I've seen my before boobs. But they havent.  xx

would you mind me having a peek at your pics?  i am having similar size, and deliberating between 2...have just got active status so would help to see a few peeps of similar sizes x

I actually feel worse than ever today....the seed has been firmly planted in my head that they are too small and I don't see my opinion changing any time soon! It's not like they're awful, I just think I needed something bigger to balance out against my hips! In hindsight I should have probably gone with the 400cc TRX I was offered, just for the extra projection!

After 10 years of wanting breast implants, they just aren't what I envisioned!  I know I need to give everything time to settle as it's still early days. 

I think my main issue is that I know alot of women who have had breast augmentations, some literally half the size of me, with bigger implants, which has got me feeling a bit crappy.....also some with smaller implants who look bigger!!!!

Like I said, I hope it's just a passing phase, as I know a re-op for dissatisfaction where size is concerned is literally unheard of!

I know hun, just kicking myself a bit that I didn't go for the TRX 400cc like you have! I know there's minimal difference between those and what I have but still.......never mind! xxxx

hi, your avi looks amazing.  I know how you feel, I think we all go through feeling we could have gone bigger.  I know I certainly did/do.  In reality though I am really into fitness and I think bigger boobs would just not be 'me' and would impinge on my lifestyle.  I just look at my before photos and look at how much bigger I am compared to where I started.  Sizing is very confusing, you are guided by your surgeon.  I think I wishI had gone a touch bigger, but then I probably would have wanted to have gone a touch bigger again ... honestly you look very natural and I think many women would give their right arm to have your breasts xx

Awww, thank you Happy1day. I think I'm adjusting to them now, although you are right.....had I gone with 420 I would have probably still wanted bigger! We're never happy!!!!! xxx

Hi Selena, I'm having nagor implants but the co gel, I was just looking at ur implant projection on the impleo range and it is 5.1cm and the next size up is the same projection just wider, I don't know if this makes u feel better, as u wouldnt have any more projection than u have now with that range implant. 
I have become a Nagor specialist!!! Ha ha! NOT but I thought might make u feel incy bit better :-) xxxx

That helped me in my choice Special K! I'm having the CUI's and it was between the 410 and 460... The projection is only 1cm difference but the bigger is a a few cm wider which my bwd is wide enough for and that helped me and I'm sure it will help you feel better selena knowing that you wouldn't have any more projection? :) xx
