had my reop... pain so much worse this time... only had paracetamol and a couple of dihydrocodeine last time but this time i have had tramadol, oromorph, iv morphine diclofenac and codeine and still in pain.... mrs kat been to see me... no problems just pain probably from a nerve...hurts so bad.

Ouch! Nerve pain can be pretty severe hun so I feel for you lovely Hug

Its pretty common for swelling to put pressure on a nerve and cause a lot of discomfort, but generally it does settle down after a couple of days once the swelling starts to subside a little. Xx

might b staying overnight... went to leave and ended up in tears in the corridor!!! straight in a wheelchair back to the ward....

back at the hotel.now but cant stop vomiting... thats the problem.with my tummy it doesnt tolerate pain meds very well and i am very very bloated and feel like i have the worse case of indigestion.... just want to feel normal and tomorrow fella is in.work 2 hours drive away so very worried about that!

5std I don't tolerate them great either and I'm more nauseous than anything and bloated. Didnt get given anything for nausea but i did take some lactulose.. Rest up tomoro hun. Xox

Have you been given any anti-sickness meds hun? If not then it may be worth calling the clinic and asking if your other half can pop down and collect some for you.

Are you driving tomorrow? If you are and you're still not feeling good although its going to cause some upheaval it probably wouldn't be the best thing to do for your own safety babe! If you're in as much pain as you are now and suffering sickness too then there's no way you're going to be able to drive hun. Are you even insured so soon after surgery?

At worst with you having to go home 'cos I know you have a little one to get back to you may be better asking the hotel if you could leave the car there and get the train back home then possibly ask friends if they could collect your car the following day.

Really hoping you feel better tomorrow though hun Hug xx

no not driving stayin in hotel till.friday and fella is taking me back. molly is in ireland with her dad for easter so no stress there. didnt get any anti emetics as the sickness only kicked in once i was in the car on the way to the hotel!!!
