Its very normal Natalie
All kinds of emotions run through your mind on the build up to your BA - nerves and fear and more common than you might think babe.
Maybe this thread [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] will help you know you're not alone babe. Xx

Yeah it's normal, I was bawling my eyes out the night before my 1st BA, but calm in the morning. I was fine for my 2nd BA, then started crying on the operating table.

Ha i keep thinking some thing will happen to me and that im not going to come round, oh funny thing is ive worked in theatres and recovery and its soo funny watching people come round. But soon as its me i think my lifes is going to end. I think its all down to the control thing i do not like being out of control and having a GA is exactly that. xx

Re: Is it normal to feel like this?
Yes I was terrified of everything, had never had a GA before but seen my mum and brother after one, I must follow my dad. It was so easy. I felt so proud of myself for beating the nerves and getting the BA I always wanted, as you will too.

I can totally related to how you are feeling my dear. It is a scary, but very exciting thing. I have wanted this for as long as I can remember. My Op is due for Sunday and I keep dreaming about things that could go wrong. But our surgeons are experienced and 100s of girls get this done every week. We will be fine :) xxx
