I didn't feel any nerves until they started wheeling me down, it's not a bad thing, you don't have anything to be nervous about :)

it took me days to work up the courage to phone up and book but now i'm 3 days away im suprisingly calm. I think it's because a) i'm in denial (i'm good at being in denial... i managed a whole flight to amsterdam in total denial that i was actually on a plane haha) and because i am FREAKING OUT about the lack of work i have done for my dissertation !! so thats taking my mind off it :P

It's normal. Everyone's different :) the nerves will probably appear the night before op or in the morning or when you are going to theatre. x
