Very upset stomach post op
Morning ladies
Sorry if this post is a bit gross but just wondering if anyone else has had this.
Im 3 days po now and over the moon with my results so far. They're sore but look perfect so far. My problem is I've been on and off the loo all day since I came home. Nothing will stay in my stomach. I expected to be constipated because of the GA maybe or the meds but not the other way round. I feel really rough and Im scared to eat even though i know i need to. Could it be that bug that's going round or anyone get this post op?
Sorry and thanks xx

You know what actually, I've just remembered it actually started the morning of my ba because i thought it might have been nerves so maybe its not the meds??

Sounds more like a bug. But could be the tablets. Or maybe everything has upset your system ( great help aren't I ? Not!). Try some probiotics, in yoghurt. Did u have antibiotics?

Yeah I was thinking maybe its a bit of bug and a bit of meds, lol. Yeh I'm on antibiotics. If still bad tomorrow, might call nurse xx

If it started before surgery lovely this is nothing to do with your BA or the meds you're taking. You do probably have a virus sweetheart. I'd make an appointment to see your GP if its bad hun or if its manageable just ensure you're taking lots of fluids to keep yourself hydrated. Xxx

What anti bs are you on???
My anti bs hunny actually caused me a bit of toilet trouble like yours. Augmentin. It's on the advice leavet that comes in it , a common side effect of that particular anti b was 'the squits'
However as the girls said probably a virus. X

As soon as i posted, it dawned on me it started the day of the surgery. Im on co-amoxiclav antibiotics hun. i think maybe its a virus or bug and the meds are just adding to it. Im trying to drink lots of water but it just comes straight out! Sorry!! well at least i can keep lifting my top up to cheer myself up! Lol xx

Viral infections are nothing to do with your BA sweetness. Being on the anti-bs might actually help make it better? Hopefully it'll clear up soon but if not, do make an appointment with your GP hun, it's not worth calling your BA clinic because this isn't anything to do with them. Xx
