Hi, Im back - going in again!! :0(

Hi Ladies

Sorry Ive been away sooo long, had a lot on at home with one thing and another lol

firstly an update on April 73. She went in and had double mastectomy and is doing very well (both physicaly and mentally). She has to wait for a while before reconstruction can happen and im sure she will be on again when she is nearer to reconstruction for advise and support.

I am going back in hossi (nhs again) to have leftie redone n made bigger as now theyv settled a lot theres still a diff in size (1 cup diff) so back on waiting list for a boost! lol should be around xmas time but we have a hol booked to Tenerife in December so would like to ask you all whats the deal when it comes to flying and sun on boobs? I will check wen i get appointment thru but just wondering how my hol might affect me going back in.



I hope all ladies that had BA same time as me are all good and doing well and happy happy happy and all the ladies since mine I hope you all went ok and to all current buddies - good luck!



Im gona try get on more again now Iv pulled my head outa my bum!! lol

Good luck with the re-op, I was told once the first 6 weeks are over you should be fine to go on holiday - not because the flight would have an impact on your boobs but just so you are able to get back to your hospital/surgeon if you need anything in the first few weeks. As long as your incisions are covered that should be fine for the sun, but this last few days I've managed to badly sunburn my boobs just in this British sun so I'd recommed lots and lots of high factor sun cream too!
