Hi girls

So had my BA on 18th July. All is going well apart from trying to sleep the last 2 nights! Ive got my v pillow, pillow castle & pillow under my knees ( months of reading this site gave me those tips :-) but I keep waking up in the middle of the night with achy, heavy, tight feeling boobs! Not sure if I'm slipping too far down or I'm not as good at the pillow castle as I thought but it's starting to worry me. It makes my boobs feel rock hard like they are going to fall off haha!
Sorry for the dramatics but im worried I'm doing something wrong?!
Thanks in advance :-)

Have you got ice packs hun? I found it more comfortable sleeping propped quite high, as I didn't slip down so easily. But I'm still getting the ivepacks out now 3weeks Post op when they're a bit achey. They do the solid block ones in Wilkos and I got an old school compress thing that you put ice into, from Home Bargain which is great x

Unfortunetly it is going to be uncomfortable for a little while RedDolly :(

What eased the pain for me was a hot water bottle, but I was lucky enough to have someone to heat it up again for me in the night when they woke up hehe

Don't worry hun, you'll be back to sleeping normally soon What am I doing wrong? 48411

Wishful I'll invest in some ice packs thanks for that tip!
Haha my mum is sick of me already so doubt she'd be up for being my hot water bottle filler but I'll give it a try :-)
Thanks for the reassurance girls

Your back is probably just getting used to the extra weight, I wss like that in the beginning. Maybe time your pain meds so you're taking your final dose of the day at bedtime so it lasts you throught the night more?x

Hi nursesophie
Yeah I think that's what it is just getting used to the weight. Used ice packs yesterday day & took my painkillers just as I got into bed so I drifted off nicely. Feeling much better today :-) x
