Visible veins? Do they fade? Empty Visible veins? Do they fade?

Post by louisajane82 29th October 2011, 11:31 am

Hi girls,

I noticed last night that I could see some veins in my boobs, especially one around the nipple on my right, is this normal? I hadn't noticed them before, but obv I'm in the sports bra most of the time, not ogling my boobs lol! I was just wondering, as I'm just a week post op, are they maybe more obvious than they will be? I guess at the moment there's alot of healing going on so the body needs plenty of blood circulating in the boob area, so maybe they will fade as time goes on? I looked again this morning and it didn't seem as bad, so maybe I had over-strained myself somehow last night?

Anyone had a similar experience? I'm not overly worried about it, but would like to know if it's something that fades over time... xx

hi hun, my veins are quite visible too, green looking, like when ur milk comes in!!! I guess they go down as the implants drop and the skin isn't so tight.... i'm only 3 and half weeks p/o myself, but will keep you updated!! xxx

Fake bake is definitely a good plan! I'm a redhead so have the palest skin as well, my veins even show in the backs of my hands so I guess there's not much I can do about it! It's just not something I thought about before! Made a new bikini avatar and can't see any veins in that so all good! xx

Aww I love red hair - lucky girl! I actually had my hair dyed ginger (not saying "ginger" in a nasty way, just don't wanna confuse with rihanna red!) a few days ago from my dark brown which is a mega change for me, I love it but I don't think it's the right colour.. I think I should of gone auburn first, mine is very bright atm, still a bit of a shock haha! But my mum is ginger so I have her ultra-fair skin and freckles so I think I kind of pull it off, does look quite fake though!
What fake tan do you use? I've never met someone with v. pale skin like me before who tans. Do you have a lot of trouble finding the right tan? I do, i've nearly tried them all haha. xxx

I love my hair now, but when I was at school I hated it lol! I was the only ginger at my school haha! Your hair sounds lovely, you're prob just getting used to it, what a big change to go from dark brown... You'll prob have to change the way you do your make-up, I had mine very dark a few years ago and had to totally change what I usually use. It was fun though, I love make-up!

I use the St Tropez mousse when I do fake tan, gives really good results, but you have to exfoliate and moisturise religiously before and after if you want even colour. Have you tried that one? I got very good at applying it as I used to wear it all the time, couldn't bear to be seen pale! Now I just do it for special events and not the 3 layers I used to trowel on haha! xx

My veins have always shown through my skin except in the summer when I'm tan. Theyr'e definitely more pronounced now though, good to hear that may fade in time!!
