Responsive or Soft Touch - opinions please?
Hi, I have paid extra for 'soft touch' as I was told by my pc that responsives are only used in reconstruction. After looking through the threads on here I am now thinking that this is not the case at all?? I am confused. I also believe from reading on here that the responsives are actually softer than the soft touch?
Can anyone shed any light please?
Anyone had either? And if anyone has responsive can you tell me why you chose them and whether it was for reconstruction?
The responsive are a bit cheaper than the soft touch too.
Thanks in advance
Tracy

Re: Responsive or Soft Touch - opinions please?
hi hun...I'm having my op with soft touch ....On my first consultation we chose responsive ones but i changed to soft touch..I heard that the are better for cleavage. Responsives are less cohesive-i.e more movement inside the outer shell and if you pick them up from a point the gel moves down slightly- can give a more natural look without anatomicals [but not much to be honest]so much better than CUI's which is the standard range...xxx

Yes the responsives are softer, as the gel is more runny, but that can be a negative cos it'll be more likely to cause rippling. The responsive are older than than the soft touch. I haven't heard of them being used for reconstruction.
I chose soft touch as they seemed to be the best available at the time, and I didn't want any rippling, they still feel quite soft anyway. xx

They are exactly the same implant. The only difference is the gel inside responsive are softer and the soft touch are the firmer gummi bear/jelly baby implants. Both are cohiesive (gel will not leak around the body) but the soft touch gel does not move even when cut it will retain it's shape.
