I drove after about 10days. I don't think many insurance companies cover you after a GA until 7days PO. And you should be able to perform an emergency stop comfortably aswell. x

An emergency stop comfortably lol i cant even wear the seatbelt comfortably. I certainly wont be attempting that again I even had my daughter changing the gears for me!!!

It's amazing how much we take things for granted until we cant do them for a while. I shall check with my insurance company as I hadnt even though about that, so thank you very much pinkbabe

I was advised not to drive for a week. My first journey was only a short one and I found changing gear wasn't as easy as it normally is but it doesn't take long for this to get better. Also I found I couldn't reach round for my seatbelt as it pulled a bit. Just don't do too many emergency stops, (I had no choice but to do one) and the seatbelt was really uncomfortable when it tightened across me!! x

Morning Ladies,

Well im on day 9 of my recovery and am still not driving, luckily my dad has been collecting my girls from school for me, good old daddy :-) i spent yesterday with my husband travelling around in his work van as i was getting really bored staying at home and OMG never again lol by the time we got home i was acheing like mad, every muscle in my chest hurt and my boobs felt sooo heavy lol

I have learnt my lesson, today i am more than happy just chilling on the sofa by myself

Roll on when i can drive, FREEDOM :-)

Even about 2 and a half weeks after i found it difficult to put it into 5th gear and reverse!! It felt like my left boob was kinda popping!! it does gradually ease up!! xx
