You're still early days hunni, but it does get better as each day passes, give it another week or two before the discomfort goes, if you still feel you need painkillers, then take them hun, you may also find icepacks help too (you can use frozen peas or rice instead) just lay them over the tops of your breasts, it helps with the swelling and really eases the pressure you feel.

You'll know when you're ready to sleep back onto your tummy by just listening to your own body hun, you're only just easing yourself onto your side and that's a start, if you have a V-Pillow, you might find using that to create a kind of gap for your boobs to fall into will help so you aren't actually putting pressure on your boobs, that what I did anyway, but only when I felt OK to do so. xx

Hi Karen,
I am 11 days post op and I am still feeling uncomfortable. I would just like a days break from the discomfort but I know it's only temporary.
At least in a few weeks Karen we can look back and know that part is over for us and we can really enjoy our boobs in time for the sunshine....yeeeaah!!!!!
I too like to sleep on my stomach but not sure that I will ever be able to get comfy with my new cushions attached to the front of me lol

Hmm this is a good question - I can't really remember when mine started to feel like part of me... it just happened gradually over time and now I feel like I've had them all my life! I didn't just wake up one morning and feel at home with them, it took time for them to settle and for the ache to go. But as a general rule just don't do anything that hurts! Your body will tell you what you can and can't get away with.
