Re: July Buddies
Hey Lucy,
My avatar was 4 days post-op. I got a modest boob job, (only 250cc, mod + round gel), so I think that contributed to decreased bruising and swelling. Today I'm 5 days post and I went to a business dinner! No one noticed! I realized that if I wear a very thin bra, it's exactly the same size as my most padded bra pre-ba. I love the fact that I can play them up or down! Hope that helps and best of luck to you all!!!!
moongal
P.S. Keep up the good work, Amy Jane!!!

Thanks to everyone for their accounts before, during and after. 3 days to go for me and I'm toasting farewell to my fried eggs as my last drink. May have a last ciggy too (although I have strictly given up for the recommended 2 weeks I don't think 1 would be that disastrous). Nervous, excited, scared? Not sure how I am feeling.
honey, dont smoke, you are meant to strictly stay off for at least 48 hours, i managed to give up, 3 weeks tomorrow and my op is also tomorrow, really proud of myself :))
what size are you getting? what time is your op tomorrow? I am checking in at 10:30, just over 24 hours before i leave the house with no boobs hopefully lol

Hi,
Just wondering how your day out was at four days post op?. Do you think you could start to drive yet?. I'm hoping to start driving by 4-5 days post op and was wondering how you were feeling. xx

Nicki,
I only did a short drive, but it was fine. Nothing was painful nor difficult. And drove further today and all was good. I did come off the strong meds on weds and I'm only taking ibrufen when/if needed. I wouldn't really drive if you're still on them?
Are you getting excited?? Got everything you need etc?
Xx

Had my BA early this morning. Home now and feeling amazing. No need for painkillers as yet but got them close to hand just in case. Loving my new look - even thought they are swollen. Woop woop! x

Good luck don't be nervous. Its so worth it in the end! I don't think I will ever have a second thought about having them done. My nerves didn't leave me till I woke up in the bed after they were done.

just took some painkillers again, i seem to be taking them every 12 hours as opposed to every 6, but someone told me that first few days I need to keep pain at bay coz its stressing the muscle (((

Re: July Buddies
Minxy - sorry to have missed you at Riverside. Hope the pain eases off.
I'm feeling fantastic - have only taken 3 pain killers - no real pain just a dull ache. Loving my new bangers already! Wearing an E cup at the mo and hoping to get my wish of DDs (although am loving the E!).
AmyJane - don't stress. It's wonderful! I resisted that final ciggy that I was craving so much and am very proud. You can do it!

Hi Rach,
How are you feeling? I have a Christening 8 days post op then a wedding 12 days after... I think I may be being a bit optomistic about how i'll be feeling - so can you give me the realistic propects please :-)
Hope you are pleased with the results! I am having similar size implants to you and unders although I am currently 32C - can you confirm how they look under clothes etc because I also need to think about appropriate dresses! ha! I really should get my priorities right...
Sorry for all the questions but I am only 5 days away so I am really getting nervous/excited now!! xx

Re: July Buddies
hi Lucy
I think you will be fine for the christening as long as you take it easy and dont do too much. I feel fine now only feel pain first thing in a morning. I have been really good and rested loads (as much as i can with 2 little girls) .
I did find they were quite painful for the first few days but if ya take the meds and keep on top of them its very manageable. I also couldnt move my arms much at all for the first couple of days due them been under mucscle but just did abit more each day, and by about day 5 i was back to normal (except lifting things and stretching upwards) You def want to take it easy for the first week and let ur body heal.
I was 36 aaa b4 op and now wearing 36 d or dd sports bra so im really pleased so far with the results
They do not sit high on my chest and as far as cleavage i dont know yet as cant move them much they are still really hard.
They look fine under clothes but remember u will only be able to wear a sports bra and they are thick straps (hate them) cant wait till i can go to la senza lol I went out for the first time last night and i found that the nike running sports bras shape ur boobs better and are sooo comfy and i wore a maxi dress over the top.
Hope this helps hun anymore questions just ask
