Hi ladies,

Ive just joined the forum and have been reading through some posts. I havent booked a consultation yet but there seems so much stuff I didnt even know existed I feel a bit over whelmed.

Like 300cc (for example) what does this stand for please?

I really think I should look at getting a consultation booked so that I can get all my questions out! If I go say next month, would I have to decide on having the op within a certain time?

Sorry if these are stupid questions Blush

Hi hun, 300cc is the size of the implant, well actually it's how much gel is inside it measured in cubic centemeters.
You might find reading through out BA information section useful [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Depending on where you go for a consultation, they may try and get you to book a day, but you dont have to. Even if they throw lots of offers at you, those offers are always there, so dont feel any pressure to book before you are ready.

There is no such thing as a stupid question hun. Ask anything you want. We've all had to start at the begining so know how confusing it can be and obviously its a lot of money, so we all want to get it right first time

I went into my first BA blind and ended up making a big mistake.....I researched everything from the surgeon to the clinic but not the implant and have just had to have mine replaced due to the implant being recalled.

So ask anything you like......when you like and don't feel stupid! We were all at the begging at some point and there is always someone to give you advice.

Have a read of the link misf1 has attached.

Ask away!!! X x x

When I went to my 1st consult he wouldnt let me book anything even if I had wanted to. I took my sister with me and had a bucket load of questions, but to be honest I didnt have to ask much as he answered everything I wanted to know and more without me having to ask. He then said now go away and think about it come back in a week or two and then if you are ready you can book. I went back the next week and booked for 3 weeks later x Best decision I ever made!!

Hi SusieQue. There's no such thing as a stupid question hun. Try the consultation notebook for when you do go to consultations. Will help you remember everything.

Yep i was lucky all went smoothly but i do wish i found this site earlier in my journey. My PS did answer all my questions and raised lots of things i was unaware of but some might not. So go well prepared ( a good one should leave you with not many things to ask they should cover every thing).

I didn`t ask anything about profiles etc as i was unaware there was a choice.
I asked for a natural look for my frame and size (5 foot nothing) and left it to him so i automatically got told i would need 300cc round cohesive ( like turkish delight if it cut) to acheive this. Would have been nice to have known other types were available but i am pleased.

Good luck in your search follow you gut and ask lots of questions the ladies on here have really helped me since joining xxx
