Capsular Contracture Empty Capsular Contracture

After two years of having my 325 unders, my right breast is lush but my lefty is now a funny shape and bigger than the right and painful, saw my consultant who said I have capsular contracture. He has given me some antibiotics due to see him again 5th Jan. Has anyone had a re-op on one breast only?

Hi Babyjames - really sorry to hear you have CC. I recently had a re-op due to developing CC (grade 4) around my right implant but I had both implants (& pockets) replaced as my breasts had experienced some changes from pregnancy and breastfeeding plus it was 13 years after my original op. Your boobies are relatively still **new** so there is a great chance having one replaced - the replaced breast to heal fast and look no different to the other. Your surgeon will know what's best for you. x x

Thank you hun, am hoping for quick recovery as I work full-time and have three boys who are very active bless them. Will try and get
re-op for for February half term, dont know if it would make any difference as I had uplift with Ba last time. Did it hurt this time round.
