Hi everyone, i am sooo happy today, a weight has been lifted.. went to see the nurse and had my dressings taken off and she is very very pleased with how im healing, she let me have a look at my scars and there is hardly anything there, OH came too and he was like WOW!!

She says my boobs are doing just fine and they are coming together nicely, obviously they are still hard, but she said in 6 weeks when they've dropped they will look fantastic (thank goodness), and i can shower just have to put steristrips on to keep scars dry and clean..

I must say i had never felt so nervous in my life waiting to see if they were going to come out ok....i never want to go through that again, thought i had lost the plot lol!!!!

oo congrats! I cant wait to see under my dressing to see what the scar looks like, i have my dressing change on Monday. I have dissolvable stitches though, does anyone else have these?

Have you not been able to shower until now then?! im allowed to get mine wet, just have to pat them dry and then blowdry them!! HAPPY AT LAST :0) 557141

kazaa yes i have dissolvable stitches but couldnt get them wet had to have shallow baths instead, cant wait to have a nice cool shower though... and try and get the rest of the damn pen marks off me boobies, baby wipes just dont cut it... HAPPY AT LAST :0) 70324 xx

your lucky littlewisher, i looked like a human doodle before the op!

I still got some pen on me, theres a stubborn bit right in the middle of my chest on a mole that just wont budge. will try the shampoo trick later!

Hi astrapuss, im still a bit bloated but its getting better, i bought some buscopan and 'wind' settlers HAPPY AT LAST :0) 375568 as i was doubled over in pain for 5 days, i wasnt constipated (went the other way) but id had a nasty reaction to my antibiotics... so this is probably why im still a bit bloated. another couple of days and back to normal HAPPY AT LAST :0) 991311

Everyones different hun, you might not get it, my advice is to drink lots of water, cups of tea, pop, it all helps to reduce bloatedness.
