Re: August Buddies!
Hi
I am having my reop on 25th August at Abbey Pines.
Removal of PiPs for me too and replaced with 340cc
I am excited at bigger boobs and nervous because it took me ages to recover last time.

Re: August Buddies!
Hi fellow August ladies :) Hope you're well!
I think I'm mostly prepared for my big day. I've bought my sports bras and my V-pillow, which I'm breaking in just now just coz it's so comfy he he. I've sorted out 3 weeks worth of help for looking after my twins (of the 16 month old toddler variety) and have my time booked off work. I also have my arnica tablets and my vit c... I'm getting excited, but nervous too. I have a feeling the next couple of weeks will fly in.

Re: August Buddies!
good luck with your consultation on the 26th storky. aw, sounds like you will have your hands full after your BA, looking after the children. i'm lucky cos i have a teenager, so she'll hopefully be looking after me (i plan on milking the situation for all it's worth by the way LOL).
done the rice boobs again with 280g of rice. i keep reading conflicting stuff about how accurate that is, but anyways........it's all good fun thinking i might be able to fill out a c-cup when i'm post op.
went to the chemist today to look at/buy some 'bio oil'. after looking at the price, it occurred to me that olive oil is worth a bash! lol.
hope you are all ok

Re: August Buddies!
Wow Traci you should be so proud to have kept a figure like that after having 2 children! I had twins 16 months ago and was lucky enough to go back to my pre-pregnancy figure too. I didn't breastfeed as they were 3 months prem, but I did express.
I'm 5'7" and 9 1/2 stone. 36C, which isn't small, but very empty and sad after going up to a DD cup when preg and shrinking afterwards.
I think you'll carry off 390's well...
I'm so excited now! Can't believe it's only 2 weeks tomorrow!!
Hope everyone else is well! Are you all prepared with your vit-C and V-pillows?

Not long at all Georgie! Info from my clinic says M&S, or a Berlie shock absorber No.3 from Debenhams. Couldn't find my size in Debenhams, so went for a black and a white sports bra from M&S. They feel really comfortable when I've tried on, although I obv don't fill them yet :D

Thats the trouble, you cant tell if they'll fit or not right now! Think im guna go for a back size bigger so im more comfortable!
Heard alot of people say Asda but i looked the other day and could only see low impact sports bras :(

Re: August Buddies!
Hi lovely August ladies!!!
How are we all feeling? scared? Nervous? excited? any weird boobie dreams yet?
I went through it all 6 months ago and doing it again in August. Bio oi is fantastic - i know its expensive but you can get it cheaper on the net and its def worth it! You can get very dry flakey skin after your BA and Bio Oil makes your skin so soft.
A v-pillow is an absolute must - I still use mine now in bed!
With post op bras - make sure it is supportive, COMFORTABLE and preferably seamless over the boob area - i wore a post op bra given to me by the surgeon but tried one normal sports bra on and the seams irritated like mad!! Your skin goes sooooo sensitive!
But ladies - if I could give one piece of advice it would be start those ab crunches NOW!!! That was the one thing I was not prepared for - you cannot use your arm to push yourself up so your abs are used way more than you will have ever used them before and to be honest i think they hurt more than my boobies!!!
Oh and just a quick note on rice boobies - I think (esp if you are getting unders) they look quite a bit bigger than what implants really look like when inside. I did 250cc rice boobies and they looked bigger than my 295cc implants (which I actually want to downsize a bit and go to anatomcals so i might end up your boobie twin Mellie!).

Hi girls! Yes, excited, nervous, excited... lol no funny dreams yet,
but I'm sure that'll come in the next week or so. Thanks for the rice
tip Hattie - I could have fed a small village with the amount I had in
my bra the other day! ha ha! Good to know about the abs too - I'll get
crunching tonight.
Good luck with the up-coming consultations girls,
Hope you're all well.

Re: August Buddies!
Yeh, that's the one Georgie - think it's around £8?
As for sports bras, I was advised by my clinic to go for M&S or Berlie shock absorber no. 3 from Debenhams. I suppose it's a case of what feels most comfortable for you personally. I'm sure someone mentioned La Senza do a nice pink one :)

Re: August Buddies!
Hi girls - not long to go now! I've got my pre-op tomorrow afternoon in Southampton which I am actually looking forward to!! I have bought a couple support bras already so am planning on taking them with me to check that I have bought the right ones!!
I am also going to try on the implants again so as my boyf can take a couple of photos of me with them in -- i'm interested to see if I actually end up looking the same size post op as I looked pre-op plus implants (hope that makes sense??).
I have also got a couple of pre-op photos ready to add to picture trail ! God I am so excited!!
I flew back from Espana today and all holiday, I just kept thinking that this time next year, i'll be able to wear 'proper' bikini's - and actually look good AND feel confident in them!!
Ive still got to buy my v-pillow but I have bought my arnica tablets which I am going to start taking the next couple of days (my surgeon reccommended I take them a couple weeks prior to the op).
Other than support bras / v-pillow and arnica is there anything else I need to buy??
Hope everyone's well.....
