owwwwey nipples!!

Hi all,

Just had to ask if this is normal.........i woke up last week & my nipples felt uncomfortable & as the weeks gone by im now at the point where they are SOOOOOO painfull, its not even funny! They feel like a cheese grater has had a go at them & when i take my bra off god forbid if ANYTHIN (including my hubby) touches them as it really hurts! you no like if you have been breast feeding for 3 weeks & your niples are so sore you cant even bare the baby to touch them.........

Well im 8 months post op & had not had any pains up till now so just wandering isnt it a bit late in the day to start getting nipple pain! lol

ibuprofen gel,its a god send.i think i've done really well pain wise for me,but now the nipple stinging is agony,i think its more that they are so sensative they feel like they hurt.i put ibuprofen gel on a make up pad and micropore tape it over nipples,plus it stops my nipples taking anyones eyes out

thats a geat idea! Its just so weird that im 8 months down the line & they hurt sooooo much! I though i was done with all the pain lol

were you numb before now?
could it be full sensation coming back?
i feel like someone is sticking hot needles straight down my nipple,but i have had full sensation since coming round. owwwwey nipples!! 375568

oh and just a quick note the gel on the pad works for me,but it can harden by the time you come to remove it.so you may need to slightly dampen the pad on removal to make it more comfortable

gosh that is late mine were like that few months after ba i had nipple pads from boots they helped so much

Nerve sensation can continue up to a year post-op hun, so quite normal still sweetie. xx
