droopy boobie
hi girls.
I have tried to ignore this and hoped that things would even out as my right boob has been bigger than leftie for a while now, but now my right boob has started drooping, and it is very visible and painful. i don´t think i´m bottoming out, unless you can bottom out to the side??
it was always more outside my frame to the side than my left, and my leftie now looks perfect, very natural and feels so soft and nice. And rightie is sometimes hard, and i can actually move the implant around with my fingers and it feels quite weird on my chest. (i hope this is making sense). It feels heavy and painful sometimes and it is mainly in the crease that it hurts.
As some of you know i had my surgery in Iceland, so i´m trying to make an appointment with surgeons in my area to try and find out what this is, if it is something to worry about.
just wondered if any of you have had similar problems?

Re: droopy boobie
Hi hun
Its always hard to say what may be happening but what you are describing does sound as if it may have bottomed out. I had an op to change implants and have uplift in Oct last year and bottomed out in both breasts, could feel implant underneath, scar moved up up breast, strange heavy feeling that made me feel sick and the pointed out to the side.
Had a re op on 1st April this year and sadly my left has gone again though not as bad a s last time but again it is out to the side and looks different to the right, i am having a re op again in July just giving it time to see if right holds as it is changing a bit too.
Could you go to some of the places that do free consultations to get some advice?
Hope everything goes ok
Sharon xx

Oh sweetie sorry to hear you're still having problems. Fingers crossed its nothing too serious. What is the aftercare policy at the clinic in Iceland?

Re: droopy boobie
I'm not at all saying you have a rupture, but I had the same symptoms, along with raised lymph nodes too though.
Is it possible you could speak with your GP with a possible referral for a MRI scan? Don't mention that you have implants if he/she doesn't already know as they may as you had your surgery privately, just refer you back to your clinic, just explain your symptoms, the pain and difference in breast shape and request further investigation babe. - Good luck hunni. xx

I wish I knew Sally, to be perfectly honest i was not happy with my surgeon, but i was already there and had the time off work and I guess i was a little blind as i really wanted my boobs. So it was a big risk i took. I guess i just want the reassurance from another surgeon, and if there is a problem, at least I can contact my surgeon in Iceland and tell him. See what happens from there... :/

thanks cookie, I did actually suspect it to be a rupture more than anything else. I'll see what the surgeon says to me, I have an appointment on the 22 June in Leeds.
thanks girlies xx
