theyve changed my hospital
Ive just had a letter today from mybreast saying that I have to book in at 6am at Highgate hospital (same date)
Im annoyed because it was supposed to be the royal free at 7am, and ive already booked a hotel for the night before that was 5mins walk from the royal free. To change hotels now is going to be more expensive grrrr
Anyone know if hampstead is very close to highgate? Could I keep the same hotel?

I can't help hunni as I don't know the area at all, but just wanted to wish you well getting things sorted out sweetness. xx
Re: theyve changed my hospital
what hotel have you booked with? I know when I booked with premier inn they only took the money on arrival, we could have cancelled up to lunchtime on the day of arrival I think without it costing anything.
I used to live in Belsize Park, but the other side from the Royal Free and as long as your hotel is near a tube, then you will be able to tube it in in the morning. Though it is about three miles to Highate Hosp from the ROyal Free so maybe for ease of getting back to the hotel post op, trying to change now would be the best idea?
Maybe have a look at the postcodes for both the hotel you've booked and Highgate on AA ROuteFinder and see what the route looks like? Good Luck xx

My ex stayed at the Premier Inn in Hampstead when I was at the Highgate. It's about 15 mins drive away. It was the closest one that wasn't too expensive.

thats not too bad then, because i was just looking up the holiday in in camden as near to the highgate, but it was twice the price of the premier.

oh, if you have your own car to get back ( and there, but back most important) then the Premier Inn all the way!. It is quieter in BP than Camden too so will all count towards you hopefully getting some sleep!

Hampstead and highgate are right next to each other hun. You should be able to catch a taxi or ask them to pay the expense since they changed it last minute!
The royal free is a lovely hospital hun x

they called me this morning and its definitely Highgate.
At least I know where it is, because thats where I had my consultation.
Ill just keep the same hotel if theyre not too far from each other
