questions about re-op to go bigger
Hi everyone
It's been a while since I posted a message, but I wanted to ask if anyone has had a re-op to go bigger, and how the recovery was afterwards.
I had my BA last August, 270 unders, but after felt I should have gone a bit bigger as I am quite tall. The shape of them is great and the whole experience was good, but that is my only regret as for once I have some boobs and like it! I was 34AA and am now 34D or 32DD, but they look a bit smaller.
My right boob has not settled or dropped properly, so there is some asymmetry and when I am lying down it feels hardish and round in comparison with my left. My surgeon said he could easily put it right, and it made me think about doing that and having slightly bigger implants at the same time. Or should I just leave it as it is not too bad? I was very, very nervous last time, and afraid if something goes wrong this time.
Anyway, my questions are-
Is the recovery time quicker and easier second time around? Do they soften up quicker?
Is the scar worse as they have to open it up again?
Do they have to take out some breast tissue when they remove the old implants, which would mean that I need a larger implant then I might have thought?
Hope somebody can help. Not really sure what to do. My boobs have given me so much pleasure over the last few months and I don't want to spoil that by things going wrong or looking too big.
Anyone who is nervous about their BA - don't worry, it really is fine, and very worth doing. At any age!
