Sore Scar
Hello ladies,
I was told to wear steristrips on my scars for 6 weeks unless they was aggrevating me. Now after 5 weeks my left one has become red, sore and a little itchy. My bra rubs on it which I think is probably making it worse. Any ideas what I can put on the scar to stop the symptoms!!!
Any ideas gratefully received.

Re: Sore Scar
I don't think you are supposed to put anything on your scars for 6 weeks but perhaps try using some cotton wool as a barrier to stop your bra rubbing you, it might help. x

Re: Sore Scar
I agree with Starz hun, I used to put some folded up tissue under my bra to stop it rubbing. I've also heard some people used panty liners. xx

Re: Sore Scar
Aw hun, glad forming a barrier between bra and scars has helped, it is annoying but it will go soon enough
Re: Sore Scar
I got some dressing pads from boots and stuck them in my bra, that helped me!
