Just got a wedding invite
Hi Y'all!!
Just got a wedding invite from a good friend, its on the 13th Aug and if all goes to plan with me getting a BA I will be having it around the 23rd July (fingers crossed)
What can I expect my boobs will be like at this point as I dont want anyone knowing ive had a BA. Will I be out of sports bras?, I havent got my phone on me as I write this so I cant be sure of how many days post op I will be.
Many Thanks lovely peeps xxx

Re: Just got a wedding invite
You would be roughly 3weeks post op at this stage, so you should be fine to go braless if needs be. They will still be quite high and firm but by 3weeks I would of thought the swelling would have all gone. I think it depends on what you wear as to if people will notice or not. I know from experience certain things make mine look obviouse. xx

Hiya
I agree with pinkbabe, they will still be firm and high but on the plus side that means they still have a nice shape even though you are in sports bras! You are normally told to wear sports bras OR unwired support bras for 6 weeks but surgeons advice differs, depends what yours says. I think if you wore somehting more tailored than clingy you will look like you have a lovely shape without the BA being too obvious??
As for going braless... perosnally I am almost 6 weeks post op and i know I wouldn't feel ready to go braless yet, I would be worried I was putting too much strain on my boobies so early on, but i am cautious, you might not feel that way :)
have a lovely time xx

Re: Just got a wedding invite
Hi I went to my sisters wedding yesterday, and only had my op on 19th April, so almost four weeks. I wore a halter neck dress so couldnt wear my sports bra, had an underwired soft strapless bra, and was fine, boobs feel hard today though as the strapless bra not so supportive but all was fine for me.
Hope that helps x

Re: Just got a wedding invite
Thanks peeps!
Im ok with keeping the humps covered up for it, was thinking of wearing a high to the neck dress with long sleeves but short so I can show off the legs instead with some nice shoes.
Was thinking maybe you would be able to tell I had a sports bra on underneath with VBL (visible bra line!) hmmm? xxx

Re: Just got a wedding invite
I wouldn't recommed going without a bra before your surgeon recommends it, which is normally 6 weeks post op.
The swelling will probably have gone by then, but like the girls say, your boobs will still be firm and high up.
The high necked dress sounds like a good option. In Primark and Peacocks they do lots of non wired bras and also a "seam free" range which are like crop tops and boob tube stretchy elastic, non wired underwear. You could maybe wear one of those with your dress so that you don't see any visible lines but they will still give you a bit of support?
You could also take your sports bra in your bag incase you feel you need to put it back on.
