Re: cancelled op
I know it's hard hun and easier said than done, but keep positive, you WILL get your twins hun, it's just a minor glitch that's all. It was ultimately for health reasons, your safety is the most important thing.
We all have everything crossed for you hun to get an appointment very soon x x

Re: cancelled op
Really feel for you, I cant imagine how it is to be sitting there ready, to be told not today!!!
The end of June will get here in no time at all, and them you will have the boobs you always wanted, if you cancel now, when the end of June does get here you will be kicking yourself.
Big hugs
Sally xx

Re: cancelled op
Sorry to hear your op was cancelled hun and I know it doesn't make you feel any better but it is prob for the best, you really don't want to risk any infections and ending up with problem boobies that can take months to fix.
End of June will be here before you know it, don't cancel whilst you are feeling so down, otherwise you might have to wait even longer if you change your mind.
Big hugs chicky xx

Re: cancelled op
Aw hun, so sorry to hear this! I hope you can get another appointment soon, did you have to book time off? They should give you antibiotics and then do another test after 7 days right?

Re: cancelled op
Aw Bumblelady,
Sorry to hear that. Such a bad timing.
But at least, it's for the best. As Nads suggested, cranberry juice definitely helps with the blader infection.
And don't you cancel in a rush! Take a time to chill a bit . June is not so far away. Think about your health first :)
You'll get your boobs soon :)
xx

Re: cancelled op
You must be totally gutted, I can't even imagine how you must feel.
Take care, chin up and get rebooked!!!
I think all things happen for a reason... your surgeon may have saved you from a nasty infection, who knows.
Keep the boobie dream alive chick, don't give up xxxx

Re: cancelled op
So sorry your op has been cancelled sweetie, as the other girls say it's for the best and your surgeon is only thinking about your safety. About a year ago before I had my op I had a bladder infection and the infection spread to my boobie, very strange I had cystitis and a very swollen, pink nipple with all the veins around it coloured red. It was very painful. So your surgeon is not just saying that, there is a real risk of it speading as it happened to me as a healthy person who hadn't just been through an operation.
Have you finished your course of anti-biotics? If you have then I would go back to the docs as they haven't cleared it up completely.
Chin up sweetness, you WILL have the boobies of your dreams, it just wasn't right this time. It will happen for you soon. xxx

Re: cancelled op
So sorry to hear it's been cancelled lovely, how annoying. But, as the girls have said, having an op with an increased risk of infection would be downright dangerous. Your PS has your best interests at hear. Could you imagine if you got an infection and had to have your implants removed for six months?
You should really push for the next available appointment, even a cancellation. Have you managed to get an idea of when you're likely to be readmitted?
xx
