cancelled op

hiya girls,
i cant tell you how upset and angry i am,
at 9am this morning i was sitting in the hospital bed with my gown and stockings on waiting to go to theatre,
then mr teo came in and said, my blood pressure was to low my tempreture was to high and there was blood in my urine,
i had a bladder infection last week and thought it had cleared up with the antibiotics, but obviously it hadnt, he said he wouldent risk the infection getting into my blood stream, therefore he wanted to pospone the op,
i have no idea now when i will have it done,
i am sooo upset, i was getting all excited plus nervous and had no idea this was gonna hit me,
i cant even type this through the tears in my eyes,

ah hun u need to go get yourself some cranberry juice unsweetned antibtics never helped my uniary infection and damage your immune system to try get some cranberry juice it will clear it and u will be fine for your op im sorry its cancelled at least your surgeon has your welfare at heart cranberry juice really works wonders it will be gone in 24 hours if u go get some asap

Oh babe, I'm so sorry to hear that, you poor thing.

I know you probably feel realy disappointed now and I can't imagine how cross and upset you are feeling but its not worth the risk of getting an infection and I'm sure you can get re-booked quite quickly - especially if its only because of a bladder infection and nothing else causing the low bp and temperature.

Ah no sorry to hear that, I to would be angry but at lest your PS is thinking of your health. I'm sure that in a couple of weeks you will be able to go ahead with it. xx

ahh you poor thing! i can imagine your feeling very upset right now, you get mentally prepared for the op, only for this to happen, well, like the others say,its not worth risking an infection, im sure youll be able to book ure op as soon as the infection clears up, drink lots of water and cranberry juice xx

I really feel for you - but, the surgeon is looking after you, it won't be long just concentrate on getting better.

Hi pet - so sorry to hear that, but at least you know that your surgeon has your best interests at heart. Hopefully things will clear up and they can fit you back in fairly quickly xx

Aw hun, I'm so sorry to hear this. I know it's upsetting but your surgeon has done the best thing for you. It will be better to have the op a little later than have to have the implants removed due to an infection. You will get your new boobies dont worry. As nat said cranberry juice is great for flushing out a water infection, and it also helps prevent them, so a glass of cranberry juice everyday will help keep them at bay.

Your surgeon had your best interests at heart hun, I know that must be really difficult to hear right now sweetie, but I'm sure you'd think a lot less of your surgeon if he were to proceed regardless of the health implications and you were to suffer an infection later and the possible consequences of that hun.

Think positive sweetie, it's only postponed till you're in better health and then you WILL have your new boobies hunni! cancelled op 571992

i spoke to his pa a little while ago, he has holidays coming up and meetings so maybe end on june, so fed up now, just want to cancel,

I can see you are bitterly dissapointed, I would feel the same, frustrated and angry as you build yourself up and then have to wait all over again. The end of June is not far, and it will fly by. Also if they have any cancellations maybe they will be able to fit you in sooner.

Aw babe, end of June is only another 5 or 6 weeks away and imagine if you cancelled and then changed your mind and re-booked, you would be another few months down the line and wishing you had just gone ahead in June.

Like the girls say, loads of cranberry juice and you'll be right in no time. The end of June will be here before you know it xxxx

aw hun, i've just seen your post.....i'm so sorry your op has to be postponed

but like the girls have said, the end of june's not too far away, and it'll give you chance to fully recover......get drinking that cranberry juice till you go purple lol!!

don't you dare cancel it babe....you will really regret it, and you'll only be doing it to spite the surgeon.

Sorry they cancelled bumblelady, but the girls are right, he did the
best thing for your health. Hopefully by the end of June, your oh will
be better too, so it will be less stressful for both of you.

thanks girls ur great,
i have spoken to my normal doc, and she says my blood pressure was what it has always been which is low, so nothing wrong with that,
and she thinks the blood in my urine is from when i had my smear test on monday and got contaminated,
nothing i can do now,
i just cant stop crying, i should be sitting in my hospital bed by with my new additons not sitting at home sad and not knowing if its ever gonna happen again,
