Re: Back in the game ...
Thats great hun, so are you going to have another consult before your op just to run through things again? xAnnie66 wrote:Thanks Nads and Maria - yes, will do. However, given that I am now completely obsessed with all boobie-related things, I'll probably still be browsing on here at strange hours of the day and night (they're 8 hours ahead of GMT)

Well those gut feelings are often best!! sometimes as women we seek out reasons not to do something that feels right for us, even when we have done our research. I know I did exactly this, I first went for a consultation 25years ago - and that was after a few years of building up the courage anyway I finally took the plunge late last year and am over the moon with the new me!! Have a great holiday and look forward to your new . I look forward to following your journey.
Thanks Mia!
Good to know it's not just me who couldn't make up her mind straight away! :) And glad to hear you've had a good result. I think it was reading the postive stories from women who were chuffed with their results that has helped to reassure me.

Hi Nads,
No, I hadn't really planned to have another consult - I trust SH's advice and I'm happy with his suggestion of 280 cc anatomicals. my tissue is a bit 'thin' - or 'slim' as he tactfully put it! so he's not keen on going any bigger in case I get double-bubble, rippling etc. So I'm not going to be massive - probably just a C. That's fine by me, despite what everyone else says about boobie greed (though I bet I'll post somehing about that post op! ) And I'm also getting a nipple lift on righty to get rid of the droopy look that's going on at the moment. God, tiny and droopy! How cruel is that!

I bet you're going to look amazing, you only live once so why live unhappy with a part of your body that can be improved, i think! Its such a fab feeling putting on bra sets, dresses and bikinis, i can't wait until you experience it hun

Good luck honey!
I've also thought about it for the last 7 years on and off and have now finally decided to go for it - hoping to have some new summer boobies too (May / June op).
Look forward to hearing how you get on, will keep you posted too, got my consult with Mybreast in 2 1/2 wks.
ps Made me giggle re PG tips triangles, my friend always used to call post breastfeeding boobs "soggy teabag syndrome" - I never understood the full meaning till I'd had kids too!

Hi LMT!
Good to hear you're going for new summer boobies too - the old 'tea bags' have got to go! Yes, let's make sure we keep in touch about our experiences ...
Good luck with your mybreast consult - who is it with?
Cheers,
A xx

Re: Back in the game ...
Hi,
My consultation's with Simon Withey but I've heard good things about SH too so might see him as well, depending on how it goes with SW.
I too had a wobble a while ago, not because of parents but as I have 3 girls and was worried maybe I wasn't setting a good example to them by rejecting what God gave me! Tho I now have got over that and feel that if they ever want to change something they don't like about themselves, it's really not a big deal and it will be their personal decision (but still haven't told them yet, will cross that bridge soon...!)
Wow, it's funny all the different issues and emotions we go through due to our bodies and boobs isn't it? I'm coming back as a man!

Like Amanda said, sometimes reflection can be a good thing. This way you know you're 100% ready for the surgery.
Congrats lovely!
