I got measured yesterday..

Hey girls, i had my 5week review with my PS yesterday and he is very happy with my progress. He says i can start massaging my boobies and scars with bio oil and wear underwire bras aswell!!

So off I went to La Senza to get measured and I have to say I was very apprehensive! I had this horrible feeling that I wasnt going to have changed size at all lol! Crazy I know!

So I must have spent about an hour trying on lots of different bras! And Im measuring in at a 38DD/E!!! Yay!!! I could have kissed the girl who measured me haha!! She did say though that they measure narrow in the back so I could actually be a 36 which is what I always wore before! So I'll have to get measured in Debenhams too I think! The only problem is im still finding it hard to get a good cleavage like some of you ladies have in your display pics!! Plunge bras seem to make me look like ive no cleavage at all!! Balconette arent too bad though!

congrats hun on your E's !! its still early days for you, theres lots of changes yet to come, I don't know how post op you are, and I haven't seen your pics,, but I am sure in time you will find the right bra which will give you the cleavage, some of the bras with half padded push them up and together!! Like you the balconette bras fit me lovely and no one knows about my ba, however, I have found a bra which gives me a 'top-bum' !!!!! cleavage that is!! but I not worn it out yet!! pm me your us/password if you want me to have a look at yr pics xxxxxxxx

Could i have a look please? Im just over 5 weeks post op for correction of bottoming out and change of implants, not allowed to wear underwire bras yet (he did say i could for last fri eve for a wedding so had a la senza black one on) cant wait until i can wear them properly, the sports bras make me feel fed up.
I had my eye on the one you have on in your profile pic, its fab. Looks great on you hun, congrats on your new size.

To be honest hunni, I think maybe the reason you think you're having probs getting a cleavage from your bras (although you look pretty good in your avvy) is because there is no way on this earth from looking at your pics that you are a 38 inch band hun!!!!! All your support from your bra should come from the fitting of the band which you should only be able to get two fingers between whilst on the last clip, I would bet anything you've been sized all wrong babe!

Definately go for another fitting in a different place Sophie, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by your 'correct' bra size babe. xxx

Definately smaller Sophie!!! I'd go as far to say a 34 band! Your bra should actually feel quite tight around the band and as I said just enabling you to get two fingers underneath it.

That's not to say you'll be a smaller cup size though, infact I'd also say you were larger than a DD babe. xx

Nobody measures anymore hun, when you go for a new bra now you should be 'fitted' meaning you'll try on bras and see how they feel for fit and support.

Congrats on your boobies!! Although don't buy too many bras as you may find you fluff a bit over the next couple of months - I made that mistake.

Don't worry about the cleavage thing hun its early days and you have a lot of softening to go yet. You will def get a good cleavage soon! xx

Hey hun. Thanks so much for sending me to have a look on that website! I watched the fitting video and the 38 is definatley too big! I can pull it back off my body for miles!!!! lol I will def go back and try somewere different!! xx
