Hi there, re: band sizes I would definitely go up a size or two for the time just after your op when you will be quite swollen. I normally wear a 34 but wore a 38 for the first couple of weeks after my op and am now in a 36 (5 wks post op) (although that is now a bit loose!) Hope that helps, TC x

Not everyone goes up a band size hun but it is best to be prepared, I went up 2 bandsizes! not straight away though so I was able to get a larger bra later on.

I took 3 bras with me - the cup size and band width my surgeon suggested (32DD), band width surgeon suggested but a cup size bigger (32E) and the cup size surgeon suggested with a larger band size. (34DD) xx

HI Charliesmith..

Ditto to Cookies post above, I took 32 band size to ba day with me and not a hope of getting it done up! my other half on his way to see me in the evening went into m&s and bought 3 diff sizes and kept receipt to take back the ones which didn't fit... I went up band size to 34c and week later this was too small so bought a 34d and a month later came back down to 32/30 band size......... take a few if you can, and take back the ones you don't use.. xxxxxxxxx

Good idea to buy various sizes, you can always return them after your op if they don't fit right
