Re: letter or phone call?
I know it's not the same but whenever I've been put on the waiting list for specialist appointments or an op I've been notified by post of the date and time and you then have to ring them to confirm that date is ok. I was on the waiting list for my wisdom tooth to be taken out for 6 months and had a letter 1 month before my op date.
Re: letter or phone call?
I had a letter about 2weeks pre-op. Then had to confirm with secretary of the PS. I went for my pre-op assesment about a week before, hope it helps.
It worse thing doing the waiting game, but I'm sure it will be here in time.

Re: letter or phone call?
You should recieve a letter, especially to detail the pre surgery procedure (eg fasting and what foods to avoid etc.)
If you don't recieve one a week before surgery then give the surgeon a call.

I had more discomfort from the swelling than pain babe and nothing I couldn't cope with, after the first week things started to get better and by two weeks post-op I was fine hunni. xxxx

Re: letter or phone call?
hi thanks for the reply they have told me roughly what size i will be i have to have tissue expanders before the actual implant and they said by my size it looks like i will be having 350 to 400cc its just so annoying not knowing when it is, and you cant even make any plans incase the surgery will be then

Re: letter or phone call?
i dont understand why they have took so long to sort this out, when i first saw my ps he wanted to put in tissue expanders but he then decided on the implants and uplift, dont no why he changed his mind but im thinking im going to end up with a smaller implant as you with having a uplift aswell but i dont fully no what everything im having done intales, like iv said in my other posts i didnt expect to have a date when i first rang i was just wanting answers to questions about food smoking ect n bam i had my date, please ring them it wont do any harm just to ask whats going on??x

Re: letter or phone call?
lol im getting the number as we speak. i have tubular breasts so i think thats why i have to have tissue expanders then when the implant is ready to go in im having my nipple moved higher i think there is a name for it but i dont know it lol
