Underwire bra's
Hi all,
I went to the shops yester day to get a couple of bra's but didnt have no luck cos they all had underwire in them and heard were not allowed to wear them yet,
When are we allowed to wear underwire?

Re: Underwire bra's
I would wait until you get the go ahead from your surgeon hun, he will be able to advise you when you can wear them.
I was able to start wearing underwire bras at 4 and a half weeks after my check up, but I've continued to wear my sports bras as I find them too comfortable for the moment!

Hi Em
I have been told 6 weeks, as much as I thought I would be counting the days I'm not really as the sports bras are so comfortable. Who would have thought it!
Lots of love

I'm just the same! I look at myself in the mirror clothed and think I've still hardly got boobs and then I take my bra off and think woo hoo!!!
I went shopping the other day and rather than buying any bras I just tried a few on to get it out my system! It was great

But to be honest its a shame to cos wanted them to notice more ( not ppl but my boobs).

Re: Underwire bra's
They look completely different in normal bras hun, don't worry, mine just look squashed down in my sports bra, but then in my normal bras they are like WOAH!!!!
My OH thinks they look HUGE through clothes, especially in the nice fittted summer dress I wore last weekend

Re: Underwire bra's
Hi hun I agree with the girls that when you have had the go ahead from your surgeon you can start to wear underwire. I waited until my 6 week check with my nurse. Also I would recomend you get professionally fitted somewhere like bravissimo or debenhams etc. Dont go too mad on bras though as they do change a lot, especially with unders.

I've not seen that many people yet who know by the other day my OH said to me "Sitting there you wouldn't know you'd had them done at all". Was a bit upset by that but then when I put my photos on picturetrail today I realised how much better they are. I'm sure in proper bras we'll be happy. Are we impatient or what!
