Hey hun

You will get different advice on this depending on your Surgeon.

I was told not to take anything except for Arnica (for swelling and bruising) 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after.

Best thing to do is to speak to your surgeon and he will advise you xxx

I think they don;t advise taking Vit C as it can cause complications, though I can't remember the exact reason. Best to call your surgeon and ask directly.

Yup, I'm with the others here - call your clinic and ask for their advice babe.

I was full of cold leading up to my surgery and was told no vitamins at all!

It is best to check sweetie as has been said. Saying that though, I wasn't well prior to my BA and started taking quite a hefty vitamin c and zinc supplement and I was fine xx

Vit C potentially causes free-er bleeding. Garlic can do the same. Jeez just when it's all sorted there's more to research and worry about!!!

BTW, haven't said did I read somewhere........ 828394 yet on you booking your date! Biut congratulations, yippeee!!

I was told I could continue taking my pill and my multivitamins. I did and I was fine.

I agree with the girls, always ask YOUR surgeon for advice as they all seem to differ in their opinions.
